Hello smile

I'm picking up a 2013 John Cooper Works next week which aside from a sunroof and bucket seats seems to have every concievable option including the iDrive with colour screen. I can't seem to find much clarification on what connectivity this will give me. Can anyone answer the following?

- What is the Hard Drive size for music storage?
- Can this system read text messages?
- Will I be able to have the Mini/BMW connected app with this upgrade? I've seen it in action in BMWs and think it's awesome!

Also, are there any MINI approved power upgrades for this car? Apparently this car has the later JCW engine with the improved emmissions and MPG smile

I have that in my mini,

As far as I'm aware, the hard drive is the map not for music, i don't think it reads texts and connected lets you see sports display, Spotify and a few other apps. It needs to be connected though with a cable .

You can play videos...

Nothing factory approved is worth having, have also at manic remaps, put a sports cat on a date jcw Exhaust

OK so I now own the car. What a riot biggrin Aside from the lack of hard drive for music it's awesome.

The MINI connected is an awesome piece of kit. However, I seem to be having issues with the Apps. When I try to open one I get the error message; "Switching to "BMW Apps Ready" requires one-time confirmation on the mobile device. Please handle device only when stationery"

The apps then dissapear and the MINI connected app closes on the phone. I have googled the issue to no avail nothing about a code mentioned on the MINI website.
