locking keys in car (Mini 1 Baker street 2012)

was teaching in my Mini the other day, in a car park, reverse parking into a bay

My pupil was struggling to understand something so I invited HIM to get out and show him what i meant form outside the car.

We shut the doors....and the car locked it's self....key was in ignition !....panic about 8 miles form home

luckily the drivers window was down about an inch, so I got a stick, and pushed the key fob in....it then released it's self from the "lock"....we then found a twigg in the shape of a "V"....pushed it in hooked the ring and luckily key came out, just managed to get it out of the window.....

Don't leave key in car!.....or leave window open more! this has never happened before...be warned!
