Can Decals be (easily) removed?
Discussion
i do these graphics for a living, they will be on top of the clear coat, worse case it will need a polish mate. you could also take it to a local sign makers / graphics store and have them remove it for you if you wanted. but its not a bad job, they can at times be pain and come of in tiny bits buts its just time then mate

Great, thanks very much for the info. I'm not fussed about a bit of elbow grease for an hour or two, but didnt want to lose a full weekend doing it! RKDE said:
As advised above, removed many decals, you can also do it with a hair dryer. In the past I have took them off after the car has sat in the mid day sun for a while.
Them graphics will be a pain though as it will be one square at a time
Should only take a short time to remove them
That sounds like a laugh! Fingers crossed for some hot weather then, if I get asked to do it Them graphics will be a pain though as it will be one square at a time

Our old Mini was completely sign written and I managed to get it all off in an afternoon with fingernails and a hairdryer, there will be some adhesive residue but this is easily removed with some white spirit, after removal give the car a good soapy wash and then polish with a 50/50 mix of wax polish and cutting polish.
