I have Koni Classic adjustables on the front. From memory Austin-Rover Metro fitment, but I think they are now discontinued. However, you can get a similar unit from Gaz -has the advantage of on-car adjustment.

At the rear I have Monro air adjustable shocks, which allows me to maintain ride height with a load. These are very stiff however, and give quite a firm ride. I expect you could get a suitable unit from Gaz, if you provided the measurements.

Spax also list adjustable shocks, but my previous experience of these would not lead me to recommend them.

Thks Mike.
On nr. 14,I had Koni 80-1005 at the front. They are for TR 3/3
The next owner of nr. 14 had the car put on a special shock calibration stand and they changed all the shocks.
I'll try to find out.

Looks fantastic from the photos but ambitious, I guess the USA isn't exactly overrun with them. Makes 77 look like a bargain.

Great work Dirk, Allways great to see a Keeble return to the road. On the shocks 77 has Koni adjustables on the front. Rears were a problem and I ended up having the old shocks rebuilt by Koni. Happy with the ride but think you have more choice now.

As for 77 I am going to keep her for a bit longer - perhaps I just wasnt asking enough money?!

Hi all,
nr. 57's engine is out for reconditioning.
Just a question: what Tyre pressure are You running with 205/70 tyres?

Engine reconditioned, ran well.On a trial run the oil filter adapter broke in two causing ALL oil to be gone in seconds.Noticed when the car slowed down, and pressure showing zero.
End of story:sump off chequed condition of bearings and replaced them as no damage to crank.Put together today and will continue trial runs tomorrow....
Life is not easy! No apparent reason why the adapter broke. It was of course a Mazak one.

Had a bit of a result at the weekend, attended a local car show at Borde Hill house & gardens, run by Southern Classics. About 70-100 vehicles present throughout the day, including some very nice examples: stunning Borgward Isabella, Renault A110 Alpine amongst many others. Made it even more special when they announced Ch76 had won "Visitirs Choice, 1st Prize" smile
