Not got many photos yet, here's one with "Delilah" who stood in so ably for 76 at Le Mans Classic:

Lovely Mellow and that includes the Rover too!The G-K really does look nice - you chose well on the colour.I`ve always loved proper Rover`s although I must say the P5B coupe is the one for me,had a few Rover P63500S cars and they were amazing,no wonder the police loved them.

It was good to see 77 on the grid along with the other GK's about the meet, I always enjoy the breakfast meets at Goodwood and the bacon sarnies are superb!

Mellow, 76 is looking good but part of me says I liked it better in Yellow..

Good luck with 52 GK52, where are you marketing it?

You're as bad as Huntsman, I liked it in yellow too but there was no shortage of people who hated it, new colour not so marmite and I like that too. Chartreuse looked good with the Wolfies, black skirt, vents and black bumper trim but I don't think it would have looked right with everything else reverting back to a more standard appearance, I did a photoshop and it looked odd:

Chartreuse only really belongs on two cars IMHO:

Sold it yet GK52?

Just noticed the car in the background of your above photo (along with the Rover): are you doing a Chris Evans? I.e. all your car have to be the same colour!

It was going that way, my A6 is gunmetal last Griff was gunmetal too but the new one is black. Rover is actually dk green but doesn't show very well in the photo.

I'd not heard of Gordon Keeble until I was at goodwood thoroughbred breakfast club, I saw 3 there as I recall and I must say, I'm a little besotted.

They have beautiful lines and a classic interior. The ones I saw at gw were a credit to the owners.

Nice to be appreciated smile I remember feeling much the same way at Silverstone about 25 years ago.

Is anyone able to post a photo of a car with the original bonnet stay, specifically where it hinges? All the photos I have, show it vanishing somewhere near the fluid reservoirs but I can't see where it would've been fixed on 76.

Most of us can relate to being besotted with the girl named Gordon TackMEU, wait until it turns to a lust that burns a hole in your pocket!

Mellow, point taken with Yellow, however, Chartreuse is not the only shade so if I were to go mad and do it all again primrose would certainly be in the running, sorry, cant help with the bonnet stay Ch81 doesn't have the fitment any more

Hi Mellow, here is the bonnet strut locating point on 97 - hope it help you.
Spoke to Alan Mason with 60 at the 50th & I am sure he has wider wheels but the standard steering box. I am undecided as to what to do,but I am drawn to the slightly wider wheels. His car looked fantastic in that blue.

Yes I have the J A Pearce original Magna wheels and 205/70 tyres, with the standard box. I don't find the steering heavy although not sure if the box is getting worn as there a lot of 'slack' around the central position!

I think the electric blue really suits the car but I am biased!!
