Any Keeblers going to be at the Goodwood revival in a couple of weeks time? Chassis 48 is in final debug and will be in the Revival Car Park on Saturday and Sunday, possibly Friday as well. Hope to see other GKs there. I have entered it in the Revival competition and the shortlist (of 10 cars) for each day is published on the Goodwood site. Chassis 48 is listed for Saturday and its now for the public vote - so get voting chaps !!

81 has a slot in the revival car park on Friday, its also entered in the competition so I can feel some 'Eurovision' style voting coming on! See you and any others there.

I look forward to going next year when we have hopefully moved back down, good luck at Goodwood you 3 & I`ll keep an eye out for plenty of pics.Did any of the guys that bought the Harrington bumpers from Vietnam drill the bottom front so it accepts the original no.plate brackets?Another question - did anyone have their GK gauges reconditioned,if so by who and were they pleased with the work?Have included a recent pic of 11,you can just make out the terrible job that was done on the passenger footwell for the clutch release arm, replacing it with a round one as original.Remember the special G-K issue of C&SC out on Thursday.Cheers from Tony.

Now this should be interesting.. Good luck GK52, not sure you will need it
Going going gone: http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/list/72/ judging by the testiminial "Amazing response from the Car And Classic advert. Over 1200 hits lots of viewings and a sale inside two weeks." it sold quite easily. Does this mean GK52 will become GK75?

Congrats on the sale of you're beautiful car GK52! (soon to be GK75) If only I knew sooner then I would have bought it because I really , really love these cars! Went to the Beaulieu for the big 50th birthday party & I really enjoyed seeing so many of these rare oft forgotten classics & chatting to their very friendly owners. I even sat in one too! Couldn't believe how comfortable they are & how much they suit my style. Let alone how easy it was to get in & out of for a man of my stature. (Kind of big & fat..) I also went to Goodwood for the pre 66 BC not that long ago only to be greeted by 3 more!

They do have Their quarks but, the next time one comes up for sale & that I have the cash, I'd want to be the first one there to buy it! Even if it needs a decades worth of work to get it back in shape!

Join the GKOC RSD_25, let the club secretary know you're after one and you'll be the among first to find out when the next one comes up. Even when they aren't sold through the club, the owners are pretty quick to let the club know when one's advertised. I believe there are one or two owners about to put cars on the market, in a variety of conditions.

An interesting anecdote: I took a car over to my paint chap yesterday and was getting a lift back in a GK. The painter happened to mention, while we were talking about the car, that Gerry Marshall had had a maroon one that he'd brought over for some paint work along with a Bristol. Wonder if a PHer owns the 'Gerry Marshall' GK then?

Saw 48 at The Revival on Saturday phj, looked fantastic, 76 was in Classic parking not 50ft from it. Mike W kept quiet about getting his into the "Earls Court Motorshow", quite a coup, in good company too, TVR Griffith 500, Iso Grifo and De Tomaso Mangusta - Pretty much my dream garage. Will get a few pics up when I've got them off the camera.

Hi Mellow, that line up of cars sounds fantastic, pics of anything Grifo always welcome!Sent my instruments for 11 off to Speedy Cables today, been told the speedo is DB5 can anyone confirm this? Whatever I`d rather the G-K than DB5,Astons are so common!Cheers Tony.

Yes, I spotted those 3.

I thought the motorshow tribute to V8's was one of the best yet.

...Sorry for poor photo quality, only too snappy camera and conditions not ideal in most cases.

Great pics Mellow. Yes I spotted 76 just along from mine (48) - I do like the that deep grey. Very classy. I have been to the last 4 revivals - first 2 in my Fiat 850 Coupe (now sold), last year in the modern (48 was still in bits) which was not the same at all. Arriving in the GK was very special. Never been to a 100% dry Revival before. Bumped into Charles Giles and Alan Mason and then stumbled upon Mike's car in the Earls Court show. You'd swear they made more than 99 - we had the place well covered !

Currently for sale, £75k, and it's LHD. Not one of Giugiaros prettiest IMHO, bonnet scoop seems familar though.

Painted the bedroom yesterday, can't believe the colour Mrs Yellow chose:

Friend got a better pic of 76 (although he might have shut the door properly first!), just to show I made the effort too.
