Hi Tog,
Not sure, so may be wrong here.... but think that belonged to an old friend sadly now passed on, it was originally Dark blue with all the chrome, he had a lot of work done converting to the black look popular back then, unfortunately the car was stolen and I thing "torched" ....
Based on the club gallery it looks like Ch63 (Same colour scheme, wide wheels, webasto sunroof), Ch83 (red, different plate, narrow wheels) is the one listed as destroyed by fire. Not sure, so may be wrong here.... but think that belonged to an old friend sadly now passed on, it was originally Dark blue with all the chrome, he had a lot of work done converting to the black look popular back then, unfortunately the car was stolen and I thing "torched" ....

Hi all,
I come at a point I have to make difficult decisions.Living in Antwerp,Belgium is a real problem now with the Low emission zone tightening more and more.Traffic has grown enormously to the point there is not much fun driving my cars anymore.
I therefore decided to sell several cars, and the Keeble might be among them(Big V-8's are not liked by the politics anymore here)
I read that several people were looking for a Keeble.. Mine is not cheap,as it is now fully rebuilt.
If someone is interested, contact me at: vanussel.dirk(at)gmail.com

I see that there are now 4 GKs for sale on www.carandclassic.co.uk. Must be a record.
Long time since I've seen one advertised sub £50k, advert a bit thin on detail thoughJust stumbled upon this, what might have been. I believe the club site still lists one as being converted:
More 3d renderings here
Looks rather good but I guess it's a whole lot easier when you don't have to worry about water ingress and can make the hood & farme take up as little room as you like.

Ch76 is currently running a (new) Holley 600cfm on standard GM inlet manifold with adapter plate. This sits a bit high and causes the air filter box to rub against the bonnet heat shielding. I'm having some other work done over the Winter and am thinking of changing the inlet manifold. Does anyone know of an aluminium manifold which will take the Holley without an adapter?

If you're running a Holley, you can use one of these: https://www.jegs.com/i/OER/691/6423907/10002/-1
Allows you to fit a 3 inch deep air cleaner but will clear the underside of the bonnet.
Almost as much as the manifold! I did wonder about a thinner adapter but one I already have is 1/2" which seems to be thinnest available. Don't really want to mess with the original filter housing. Only issue I have with the Weiand manifold is it's not exactly going to look "period" but I guess a few months of muck will help with that. Afraid I can't but the picture intrigued me so I Googled John Woolfe and Gordon Keeble, turned up a couple more pictures of the car with different plates, apparently it was dark metallic blue.I've included the accompanying text:
"The consensus is that this is John Woolfe Racing's head honcho Dave Riswick at the wheel of business partner Arnold Burton's Gordon Keeble."
"Caution! Do not play poker with this man!
An incredibly serious looking Dave Riswick at the wheel of the ex-Arnold Burton Gordon Keeble at Blackbushe in 1971. Dave ran a 14 at 107 mph but, despite the fact that his car was fitted with a Formula 5000 racing engine, lost to David Rinder's Ginetta."
...and another, in colour
