Wow... how can you spot a fake just from that screenshot? I have to admit I'm no Ferrari expert but from that picture it does look pretty convincing.

Proportions look wrong. Saw one yesterday too, looked pretty good to the untrained eye but it was actually a replicar, ocnfirmed by doing a number check as the other chap suggested.

They're better than they were but still look just not right.

Oh, and also Scud's have two single pipes more towards the centre.

Changing the theme somewhat, spotted a spectacularly good white Wolseley Six heading towards Daventry from Southam. Probably rarer than the Ferrari...

Look at the shut lines around the boot. And the overall proportions look all wrong.

How can you tell it is a fake from the photo? ASKMID lists this car reg as "Vehicle Make/Model: FERRARIF430 MR2 KITS"

so it is a rebodied MR2

Ha ha,you must have been following me, i saw the Scim towing the Lotus as i went over the motorway bridge outside Milton. Looked like a Lotus 17 to me, scroll halfway down this page for a pic of a 17...
