Local conveyancing firm - Northampton

I'm just about to start the process of moving house - mine should be on the market this week, so I need to get off my backside and find some solicitors to deal with the sale/purchase when (if) it eventually happens.

I'd prefer a local firm, so I can drop off/pick up documents to help speed everything up. Does anyone have any recommendations for a firm that's good (and reasonably priced!).

I always use Mann & Co in Kettering and would recommend to anyone. Just one Solicitor and a clerk, but very very good. You ring up with a question and they know who you are, you dont get "I'll just check the computer"
Mr Mann is a bit eccentric.

They have handled 4 house purchases for me now (I'm a BTL landlord none of them in Kettering) and both my daughters have used them. The youngest daughter lives in Surrey and her partners sister is a Solicitor and even with staff discount couldn't get close to Mann & Co's price.

You will find there is not to much running around that can be done to speed things up to be honest, so although a few miles from Northampton this should not be an issue. As I said the youngest daughter who lives and was purchasing 100+ miles away only visited once.
