Call Ant on 07775 943260.
http://antplumbingandheating.co.uk/

He has done all the plumbing in my house, including replacing the entire heating system. I had about 8 different plumbers out to look at that job and he was by far the best

Hi Quinten! Whereabouts are you based again? I'd forgotten you moved over this way thumbup

I may end up being really cheeky and asking for a hand Wednesday or Thursday evening to unload a fridge, I'm trying to arrange a mate to help me out but if I end up stuck I'll let you know wink

I'm in Upton wavey

<backtracking wink> I can't help Thursday (parent evening), but tomorrow is not a problem. I still work in Rabans Lane, and the boot of the Mondeo estate is empty driving

Firstly, a big thanks Quinten for your help on Wednesday night! Taking an hour out of your evening (and on a school night!) to give me a hand carrying a fridge about 15m is really appreciated, if you ever need a hand with anything or a lift back from an MOT etc. just let me know!

Secondly, Ant has just been round to have a look etc and he seems a really good chap, we'll be getting him back to sort out the few niggles then take it from there, so thanks very much for the recommendation!

Brilliant! Well whilst I've got your attention, next predicament is...

The old gas oven is crap, very small, seals are shot to loses a lot of heat, uneven cooking etc...

There's a 32A supply and connected cooker switch in the kitchen so went ahead and got a new electric oven.

Should have removed the old oven before ordering, as turns out that cooker switch is wired to the fuse box, but no further...

So, looks like a need an electrician now! I feel I've fallen victim to the house moving equivalent of measure twice, cut once...

Give Andre Lewis a call on 07946 199544, he's based in Wootton and has pretty much rewired our whole house - if it's any consolation we bought a seriously (and dangerously in places) bodged house - didn't realise before we bought it, hence the refurb.
