This is a bit of a desperate cry for help...

My son bought a sporty car 2 years ago which has an aftermarket exhaust system fitted but that has deleted all CATs from it. He was able to get it past his first MOT by a friendly garage near his place of work, but they are no longer able to accommodate him due to stricter government rules (that was the excuse given anyway).

Fitting CATs is not an option due to the excessive costs involved apparently.

Can anyone recommend a MOT place that could help him out in that respect? Probably best if this is through a message...

Apparently haha..... I think not vs. the costs of having a claim rejected hehe

Can he not buy a standard cat and just fit it for MOT purposes? Model specific Facebook user groups will 100% have someone there to sell one on having also done the same to their car.

He's trying to get his hands on a set, but last year that didn't pan out to anything either, so no doubt the same applies to this year. And new they are £7K censored
