Never mind Marky boy.
All will be well in the end.
Nearly Friday and Central time for you to dance the night away.
(Still have no idea how you can go in there sober, bad enough when i'm pis , err drunk).

Baker, finish the little beasty before flogging it.
Wonder if will fit in the back of the VW?

Rob, your Chim always stands out, it looks ace. Your Dad's B also looks great. Unusual to see 4 E types in one place, the one behind you was in fantastic condition but I've never seen one in that sort of colour. Dave

Sorry guys doesn't look like I will make it tomorrow (thanks for the directions by the way Mark ) as just been for a blast round the Fen roads in the Cerb and think I have broke the left rear suspension - I hit a big bump going at some mph and there was a big bang. Now whenever I go round right hand corners it feels like the left rear wheel wants to tuck underneath. Guess some mounting point, maybe the anti-roll bar has come adrift. Need to wait for proper daylight to get it jacked up and survey the damage.

Better get it sorted before I venture too far me thinks.

Although saying that left-hand corners still seem OK - anyone plan me a route from Milton Keynes to Ashby Folville that only involves going round lefthand corners??

Have fun and I will catch you all next time.

Sounds a bit broken damper rod-ish to me.... hope not to expensive

From having a look last night, it does indeed look like a broken damper rod - Cheers Pupp, fault diagnosis by internet, now thats impressive!!

No worries mate... hope you get it sorted soon and the bill isn't too ouch!.

Bit of a failing that,,, what make are the dampers? Might be worth taking it up with the manufacturer as they shouldn't fail catastrophically like that, even if a few years old. Assuming bushes etc aren't seized, that is.

Does seem a bit strange that it has failed (car only done 27k miles) of course it could be that the 23k before I bought were hammering round a track every day.

However as I bought from TVR dealer it is still under a 12 month used car warranty, so hopefully I can claim under that. If not then I may look at upgrading to Gaz or Nitrons etc if I have to pay out of my own pocket. (However I am moving house next month so car may have to wait until the money fairy replenshies my wallet!!)

Cheers Dave, I think we saw Your Red S not far from us. All the TVR's looked good as always.
