I think we took the bad weather with us for the first couple of days, but after that it was red hot

Phew... what a scorcher! We's back safe and sound... chaotic but fun.

Essentials list for next year:
Self erecting tent (did I say 'erecting'? Oo'er!)
Lots of fireworks
Beer cooling technology
More fireworks
TVR
Anti-Maison Blanche car-scratching scum device with added pain infliction (AMBCSSDwAPP)
Mega super ever-so-wet-indeed soaker (and ammo) to supplement AMBCSSDwAPP, above
Some louder fireworks
Counter-jobsworth training
More even louder fireworks!

Luxury

we had....
3 tents which all opened to a gazebo
two electric hook ups - which included a fridge, a hairdryer, hair straighteners, kettle, radio, mobile phone chargers, camera chargers......
a picnic table with umbrella thingy
beer at 5 euros for 24 bottles
nice wine at 9 euros for 4 bottles
good clean, plenty of empty showers
croissants and pain au choc every morning
steak for BBQ every night

what more could we ask for? camoing is under rated

An airconditioned tent would be good for next year

Who needs tents? in my we just got plastered and sleep where we fell.

Or we had a poncho to sleep under.
