Martin, I'm sure they'd be happy to see everyone there, not all of the posters have TVRs. Sadly, I don't think I'm able to go myself but I think you'l find it'll be a good day with great company.

Longers: Sorry not been in touch, we'll have to arrange something so you can have a play with the new toy.

Are you still looking for cars to join you?
It's a really nice run from home (Earls Barton) to Oakham but only been recently in the family MPV!!!
Be a good excuse for a run out, meet and a chin wag.
Do I have to have a TVR?!!
Please let me have some details and meeting place if possible.
Thanks
Prancing horse?

Thanks for replies.
Currently have a F355 GTS, would be nice to use it for more than picking up the Sunday papers tomorrow!!
Only recently found the forum section on this site and wasn't until Le Mans trip this year(last time I went was 1996) that I realised the extent of the PH community.
Did see some cars with Northants Run stickers but didn't realise the significance!
Will more than likely have my daughter with me tomorrow( my car mad boys are off on other activities) but would be willing to take passengers for a ride out if possible.
Where are the local people meeting?

Martin,

It'd be great if you could make it - your car can take the place of mine......

Went to Guglielmi's earlier to get the suspensions settings tweaked now it's bedded in, only to have the nearside front wheel nearly fall off when car was jacked up. Appears that something has broken in the steering rack. I'd been making "swift progress" on the way there - I'd hate to think of the results if the wheel had come off while I was tonking down the M1 at 10.00am today.....

The steering started to felt stiff when I got it out of the garage this morning and I put it down to the usual S series problem of column UJ's needing a good clean and grease.

I have to say a massive thank you to Wayne at Gugi's - he stayed back later than usual (despite his girlfriend bending his ear on his mobile) while Mrs Gugi drove over with the spare set of keys for Mr Gugi's BMW that is now sitting on my driveway - Mr Gugi had the other set of keys with him, and he was at Silverstone qualifying in the Aston Martin Owners Club race meeting!

So, would someone mind picking me up tomorrow? I could get myself there in the boring eurobox if nobody has a spare seat but it'd be good to arrive in style!!

Cheers,
Longers

Ian, looks like it`s gonna be V HOT on sunday! I don`t want to cry off, but i don`t trust my cooling system! Is it possible not to take part in any "slow processions?"

Get that damn car fixed Mr Skinner!

If it's any consolation my scooter failed it's MOT so only have the Passat

Failed on a bulb blown, but couldn't get it out because the plastic screws holding lens are borked.

Almost like owning a TVR!

OI! The Cerbera has a highly strung engine! Maybe I should take the Focus?

I don't think the parade will be that long - I think it's only going down the High Street which isn't far. We can find out details once we're there. However, if you'd rather not do it, no problem. The cars will spend most of the time in the parking area for people to stare at anyway.

Are you meeting in the layby in Uppingham still?, as mentioned in a previous reply.

If so, see you there just before 12.

Seems to be some worry about overheating! Surely a TVR can't get any hotter than my 355

Latest update from the Tyre_tread garage is that the Blonde has cried off so I COULD go in either the Tiv or the Rover.

Fitted a new temp sensor for the Rover fan today so its tip top. and should be up for the trip if that's the way we need to go.

If we need seats I'll take the Rover.

Either way I'll bring the mini fridge as it will fit in either

Edited to say the replacement indicator lens is fitted to the Tiv (Thanks again Justin)

Here's a thought - we could take the Rover.
Steve, I could pick you up from Desie and Mark and one other from Trading post (or meet me in Harborough).

Let me know what you want to do and where we are meeting.

Love too have a spin but got to meet the parents with Nurse! tomorrow.
Another time though.

Unless you can get me back to Desboghooror for 1pm?

I suspect not so will decline.

But if you can, yes please.

Unlikely that we could get you back in time so sorry Steve, I will have to pass on that one.

This begs the question, Who is going then?

Morning campers! Following my text from mbmotaa last night, it looks like a preliminary meet at my house at 11:15 am. Then a convoy to Mkt Harboro to meet up with tyre-tread. Alan, the diy car park again? Then over to Uppingham... How does that sound?
