Back home from a "scorchio" day at Oakham. Big thanks to Longers for organising. Nice little blatt north of Rutland Water. It`s given me some ideas for a run at some point in the future. Bitty, did you enjoy the ride? Last but by no means least, a big hello to "mbmotaa" and his fabulous Fer 355. Welcome to "local" PH. (for local people )

Got a bit of whiplash from all that warp factor accelarating you like to do, ta very much. But yes, I enjoyed the day and it was great to meet some other ph's. I thought you were lying when you told me about it before and that you were the only one.

The highlight was seeing how chuffed that old man was to be getting his first ever ride in a Ferrari.

Mark,

Once the baby is here and things get back to normal (whatever that'll be!) I'll organise a good route for the Rutland Rumble 2

Thanks to all of you that came over today and helped raise a bit of cash for the charity. I'll sort thru my pic's and post some later.

Cheers for now,
Longers

I`m thinking along the lines of a "kettering run" that sort of fades into the "rutland rumble." Ending in a pub....obviosly We`ll have to get our heads together....

Glad you all had a good time!

I had a rather good best not to state on here, run down to Bournemouth yesterday while some Englanders were failing to effectively kick an inflated leather sack around somewhere. Wonderful!

Big thanks to Justin for getting his tool into my wastegate and freeing things up for me, produced good results!

Also took him out for his first blip in Blipi, didn't realise he hadn't experienced the force of the Blip before. Took him past the 'lamppost' road and out and about some roads I know well. I left him smiling, but hopefully not with gritted teeth!

Awww, I feel proud, Blipi did well for me this weekend

2 starting points!!!! I was thinking more along the lines of 2 (or 3) leaders. ie. I`ve got the Kettering/Corby area covered, then maybe some of you Leicester/Rutland boys take over. The run should last 60-90 minutes, have some dual-carriageway and left turns at junctions etc etc.
