Tonight`s DVD was "The Descent". So many holes in the plot, like: why don`t a bunch of 20 something pot-holing girls have mobile phones? 3/10. Don`t bother.

But, if they did, would they work in caves? Sheet, I'm bored...

My Belgian mate buys many DVD's of which we generally watch the latest acquisitions on a Friday night after going for a meal. I should say that he watches and the rest of us generally fall asleep!laugh

Anyway, my tip for the "All time don't bother to watch this DVD" stakes is "Wrong Turn". Somehow I managed to stay awake through it but I'd have been better off sleeping.

Anyone want to gues the plot?

Major tedium!

Max score is 0.5/10

Best Film he's brought to watch - Ronin - admittedly some time ago but have rewatched it several times and despite the recent slagging in another thread, reality aside, I think it is the best car chase from ANY movie. Admittedly I'm not a fulm buff but its the best I've seen. Only when you naalyse it do you see the flaws. (passing either side of alternate cars tends to give away the fact its staged.)

Try this but don't believe the spiel.... - reviw at: www.imdb.com/title/tt0295700/

"`Wrong Turn' was in one word an utter shock to the system. There hasn't been a film this gory, grotesque and chilling in a very long time. Not since the 1970's `Texas Chainsaw Massacre' has a horror film such as this been made. The best way to describe the experience is that if you took 2001's `Joy Ride' and `Jeepers Creepers' added 1972's `Deliverance' then threw them all in a blender. You may come up with `Wrong Turn'."

Yeah right rofl

Utter garbage if you ask me. Predictable to say the least.
