Yeah I was thinking I may attend sometime, I'm busy at the moment trying to set up a decent Skyline meet in the Midlands area for the SOC.

Hi Richard wavey and welcome.

Why not piggy back your meeting onto the monthly Sywell Pistonheads one on first Sunday of the month. That way, if only a few people turn up to either, there are still plenty of petrolheads around to make it interesting.

That's one possibility, thing is. I'm always hearing of all these supposed Skylines round Northamptonshire but I've only ever seen 3. And 2 of them where at organized meets!

Not quite sure about that. We`ll try to sort something out in time for the next Sywell meet. Amazingly, that`s on April 1st! hehe

shout BLIPI! Don`t forget the rubber gloves.

Yip, met Miss G from the Skyline Owners Forum before it went all down hill. Not seen her on the club side of things though.

Not seen the blue GTR either!

Long story....

The site used to be owned by a good bloke who kept things moving along and also kept good communications up with the club. Along comes it's new owner who after having his nose snubbed last year at one of the Jap Shows where he was informed that having near enough naked girls indulging in Lesbian acts in his car wasn't really what the club wanted on there stand especially with members having brought their kids along.

Said new owner happens to have a fair bit of wonga in the bank who then buys the forum. He then systematically goes through the whole forum in his effort 'To Crush The SOC', deleting all content that refers to the club including signatures / links etc, forcing long term members and tech contributors out due to his what can be termed at best 'Nazi style' moderation and administration.

So all the good people have left that side now and we all hang out on the club side. Too many idiots on the forum side now which is a shame.

Skylines are always popular - plus they can take three passengers so lads take it in turn for the front seat so three rides !

PLUS Vince took me round Folembray (very small) curcuit in his R33 in the rain - just toooo eaasy

Did you see Blipi had a TR7 bit ?

Oh, and Monaros are poplular (one of our regular drivers had one on loan for NEC rides and got an engine warning light come up midday, we told him to drive faster as it might the light blow out)

Can't see anymore spelling mistakes
