Any updates around Long Buckby / Daventry / Weedon please...?

Currently sat in the office in London and pondering whether I'm actually going to get home?

Podie,

Stick to the main routes and you'll be fine out Daventry way.

Cool, thanks. Will be a few hours before I get back (assuming trains are still running by then)

No worries. Where do you get the train from? Long Buckby?

Roads from Long Buckby, the A5 and through Norton to Daventry are a joke - so sign of any grit!

Did see a snow plough in Buckby where there are drifts of about 2 foot in places!

Fair old pile in Desbog now, thought we'd missed it.
Drift outside my door must be 6 inches plus.

I'll agree to that, rugby was cleared on the main roads today, got back into daventry and theyre pretty much like yesterday, untouched!

Loads of man point to the postie in Thrappo this morning, pedalling down Huntingdon Road... in shorts! Knees as red as his bike laugh

There's a story behind that!
Its been on going for a few years too, basically a competition between them to see who will cave in and swap shorts for trousers laugh

Tiny bit last night, despite the weather saying snow and still does.

I think they need to 'look outside'!

We had a dusting last night. More expected during the day apparently, and a bit more on Friday.

Winter tyres FINALLY due to arrive on Monday, so it'll all have gone by then. irked

Up to 11oC and Tuesday apparently. Though the forecast has been almost totally wrong so far i wouldn't panic.
