You must be fed up with questions spokey but roughly how many miles is the first leg as i stuggle to do more than 80 miles when the beans are out of the tin!
Blimey! eek

Well, the first leg is about 85 miles and I've checked, there is an Esso very near the lunch stop (couple of hundred yards, but not in the direction we're going)

I've told Dave about that petrol station but he'll be buying my petrol before that and the price will increase relevant to the Westie and petrol station proximity to each other - as I know his gauge doesn't work and the use of a dipstick is beyond Dave biggrin

Excellent drive out and a free suntan to boot. Would have loved to stay for the afternoon but family duties called!

Thanks Spokey and all. See you on the next one.

Hi john3883 ... I think everyone was gone by 10 - sorry you couldn't make it.

For those who did, thanks for coming, I had a great day out and I hope you did too!

Fantastic drive on some really great roads

Pity Dave couldn't afford the petrol for Part 2, some of your favourite roads Dave

Smart pub to end Part 1, I hope you all enjoyed your meals

Excellent pub to end Part 2 (Mrs Beer became Mrs Cider)

Sue and Alan apparently we owe you a drink due to a bar mix up, next time, that partly explains why the beer tasted so good

Nice to see you all and ride with the last group

Off course a big thanks to Spokey for arranging such excellent drives, we appreciate your hard work

Unfortunately it seems he might have as he didn't ring us - that petrol will only go up in value for next time

Epic work, Spokey.

Your homework paid off in spades; it was a superb run.

But my TomTom now has a virus. What is it you sent me, exactly?
