Matt - sorry about my front under tray removing itself at "some" miles an hour and trying to slap you! Luckily it didn't hit anyone and I've removed what's left now. It doesn't seem to do anything other than smooth out the front underside so I'll live without another until one pops up on eBay!
Don't worry about it. My lightening reactions and amazing driving skills* saved me from disaster. I did have a little chuckle afterwards - I saw it starting to part company with the underneath of the car, next thing I know this huge black sheet launched up in the air like a stealth bomber and came flying towards me. Hope there is not too much damage done under your car.

[*] = or maybe it was just sheer luck.
Hi Matt - there isn't a scratch on my car anywhere! How I managed that I'll never know. Just glad it didn't hit you or anyone else!

Whens the next meet guys? anyone welcome?
We could make this a regular event. It occurs the first Sunday of every month and we can all meet up at 15a Northbound services. I'm sure there are some interesting roads we can use instead of the A43. biggrin
There could be!! wink

When's the next one of these?

Would i be welcome in a Capri or be laughed at?.... by judging some of the cars there!

There's no snobbery as far as cars are concerned. It's on the first Sunday of every month and any car is welcome!

Yes the next meet is the 3rd of June and the more the merrier. It doesn't matter what car you arrive in - we've had everything from a Model T Ford to a souped-up Smart Car and everything in between.

If you've never been before, The pub is a great place to meet, the hospitality superb, and the village is a really picturesque setting to show off your pride and joy. The roads around Evenely make for good scenery to drive as well.

See you next month?

Cheers,

Phil

i will be there on the 3rd, i tried getting a few other members from the milton keynes Rs group to come but most are going to a classic car show in stoney stratford..... so some people may be interested in a convoy over there after to take a look at whats on display?

Hell yes! That's the best part, assuming I can prevent my car from ripping itself apart this time! smile
