Well I did say I would try but now have a problem with one of the cars that must be fixed today, so out on the drive in the rain I go *sigh*

Great turn out today despite the rain clouds gathering, it did at least stay dry this morning. A good mix of cars in the car park today with lots of coffee and bacon rolls served and lots of car- talk going on too.

A good relaxed meet as usual, lucky break for me as I was introduced to the TIPEC chaps and have now joined up. Thoroughly nice bunch and offers to help a new owner.

Cheers mate, I am happy with my new wee beast, I am 10 of being in for the morgan SS, (so hopefully will make it) If I get there we could have a drive down if your in ?, I think dave (firesaftydave)has got his name down and if any other locals are in we could have a mini run out down there, Nice little meet today and seeing you not in a audi was a bit of a shock, Cheers Tim. All being well I will have the Merc back on Friday after a run in with a deer. If i do I will be heading over with Stephen Yap and the group on the hooners forum on Facebook. Not sure if you are on there and not sure on the protocol, but I can find out if you are interested. Runs most weekends, spirited runs, great group of guys, off to Wales in May and Spain and France in September with the group.

Well the good news is I managed the fix the car, only took 2 hours to find the problem then run new wiring to the brake lights. Cant make the next one but its in my calendar for the rest of the year I am determined to make at least one as its only round the corner !
