No, Morgan will play. Batting hasnt shown that it will stand up. KP failed again, Morgan not batted properly yet so they wont go short on the batting line up.

Done deal.

Probably will, but I don't think they should. Top 7 should be good enough to get enough runs...

well we have clear skies here in Dubai, if somewhat of a chilly wind blowing.

Sadly, despite only living 10mins awat from the cricket ground I am at work in Abu Dhabi - grrrrrrrrrr.

England have won the toss and will bat!

Chris Tremlett is in.

A poor start this morning. Three batting mistakes.

I hope our bowlers aren't as rusty as the batsmen...

And that ladies and gentlemen is why we did not go with 2 spinners and the longer batting lineup. frown

Of course, but we get bitten both ways don't we. The wicket is spinner friendly so they take wickets as they have the attack to do that, and we are packed with seamers. Lose, lose in my view. I repeat if we are number one in the world and our top 8 can't get a decent score then how can we be number one. Doesn't make sense to me. However, I have to agree that out batting line up has not fired at all so far. If the top order had been getting tons in the warm up games I would like to have thought we would have given Monty a go.

The pitch doesn't look that bad. The batsmen haven't been picking the length.

True, we've not been winkled out, we've got ourselves out. Need a session from Prior and Morgan here /mockers
