Seem to be relying on prior, swann, broad at the moment. Those boys still seem to have the ashes team swagger and confidence not scared to fail, play it my way.

The comparison with the middle order is stark, they look brittle and trying to play low risk cricket.

Useful lead this....

Well played Pakistan, great win.

Don't think we wil be seeing Morgan in a England shirt at test level, perfect match situation for him, but dreadful from our middle order.

Note to self teach my lad how to play spin bowling, guaranteed test caps ......

Indeed brace yourselves for the steady clatter of English Wickets

Whilst I am not a Trott fan, I suppose I would be ok with another slow fifty in nudged singles from him today.

Well we have plenty of time, 180 overs so effectively only need 2 runs an over, no pressure on scoring...just got to stay in.

Trott will have a massive influence on whether we can get close. Last chance for Morgan, so hoping he can do something.

Bell - back to his old ways I am afraid, looks a absolute shadow of the player he was 12 months ago - heck even six months ago.

Morgan - back to county - has played one day innings every time he has come to the crease.

I think the others will be ok, I don't even think they will drop Bell.

Agreed, this is what is wrong with England.

Anyone that is not Australia, they will happily walk around thinking it will be a walk in the park because theare number 1, they won the ashes, they beat Australia....

What a thoroughly deserved ass raping.
What a load of crap - read any of Strauss's quotes before the India matches at home and again before the India tour.

I agree that England and I probably expecting to win these matches, but I didn't think it would be easy and never assume we just had to turn up to win.

Solid, but unexciting at the moment, Cook playing some sensible cricket at the moment.

Too early to tell for KP, at least he got England off to a steady start.

180 after 36 overs, so 300 is probably upper limit of the range. However given this is England 220 all out wouldn't exactly be a shock either.

Well played AC, strike rate of 90+ is excellent work.

Indeed, I think we may be about 30-40 runs short of a true target here.

However, early wickets and who knows. Cook just out, but played a great innings here.

More chance for our bowlers to win the game in an odi I suspect.

Good win for England.

Widely acknowledged to be difficult to bowl spin in the night part of the game.

Been following in the car on the radio, looking good at the moment.

Makes what happened in the tests even stranger..

Finn is looking like the man at the moment.

Clearly he is the next test captain, but how soon, not sure Strauss will survive another poor series with the bat. Trott to open and Bairstow comes in?

T20 action about to kick off - Broad wins the toss and will bowl.

I have no idea who half the team are, but we are the world champions after all so this should be a piece of piss.

right ?
