250 up for Chef, and we've nearly wiped out the deficit.

What is he going to do, get 300, 100 ahead and declare or just bat till all wickets down?

Dunno. Can't see him declaring in sight of big records though, the game will be a draw regardless. I'd say bat til lunch tomorrow, lead of what, 200+? Then try and knock them over.

Last 10 overs 40 runs eek

Fair motoring along (thanks to Stokes).

Stokes now gone, this is not a wicket to score freely on if you want to keep your wicket.

Come on Cook!

Both of the crowd are going to go wild if he gets his record.

I can remember Gooch's 333

Chef has only 2 boundaries today - that's lots of running

The last bit of interest in the match has just gone.

Yep.

190.1
Shoaib Malik to Cook, OUT, he's gone! Cook falls for 263, gently spooning a sweep to backward square leg! Cook looks weary to his bones as he takes off his helmet and heads for the dressing room... The triple will have to wait for another day.

Well, what a waste of time that all was! Here's Adil Rashid

Can we all just go home now?

And fails. To a bowler who was 0/176.

He did hit a six though, something that Cook failed to do in nearly 600 balls....

It would've been 3 wickets if the TV hosts had paid for Snicko

Could a miracle happen?
