Apparently it's been reduced because he's been a good boy since he was found guilty of gouging! I suppose what we don't know is whether the finger was put in his mouth or his mouth found the finger.....that might "explain" it.
Indeed, and given that he was at the bottom of a ruck, it's hard to imagine his mouth had much in the way of movement to go hunting for fingers! Even if Ferris didn't put his finger in Hartley's mouth, it can't have been far away...

What does that have to do with anything in either my post or your previous one?

q

Not much actually! Someone asked who decided on the ban earlier....implying it was the RFU that set the length of ban so he could tour SA.

Was just about to start a thread on this.

100% the right choice.

Keep him in.

Keep the squad.

Keep continuity.

And let's build on what is a fantastic start!

Hartley's only got an eight week ban.....very lucky boy. I wonder why they were so leniant?
Because they want him free to play the tour in south Africa in June. If he'd got the minimum ban he'd have missed it. It's a bloody farce....and I'm a saints fan
Agreed. The bloody Blazers at Twickers will do anything to stop Lancaster being a success. They know they have lost the fight to get A Name in, that Lancaster has it, so now they are looking ahead to see how they can sabotage him. Perfect opportunity...make sure Hartley is available to be picked for England and can fk up even more often!

bds.
As predicted by moi on Tues smile
