Apart from gloves of some kind (which I have), any tips for dealing with sweaty hands on a Concept 2?
I have small hands, and I'm a sweaty creature, so as an example, a couple of minutes in to a 2k if I'm not wearing gloves I have to reach down to grip a towel for a moment.
As I've just started rowing again, the more I row will my hands toughen up, grip increase, and sweating reduce?

Wristbands - slip one onto each end of the handle. I have small hands, and I'm a sweaty creature, so as an example, a couple of minutes in to a 2k if I'm not wearing gloves I have to reach down to grip a towel for a moment.

Unfortunately my la fitness use very thin impregnated wipes, and no signs of paper towels anywhere except for rubbish bog roll.

I used to wrap paper towel around my wrists, free from the gym, I never got on with wrist bands.
That's what I used to do at my earlier gyms. I used to lay out 2 or 3 folded paper towels each side ready to grab. Unfortunately my la fitness use very thin impregnated wipes, and no signs of paper towels anywhere except for rubbish bog roll.

Could be linked to technique issues rather than amount of sweat produced?

Slightly amazed that anyone needs these. I've never found the sweat on yours hands to be a massive issue, even erging in hot weather, at altitude, or for long sessions of 60min+ where you are sweating around 1litre per hour. You're only hooking the handle in your finger tips after all.
Could be linked to technique issues rather than amount of sweat produced?
One of the least thought-through posts of the day! Could be linked to technique issues rather than amount of sweat produced?
Just be grateful that you're not a free sweater then.

Perhaps have a review of how tightly you are holding the handle, and how much of your hand is wrapped around it? Loose grip in the fingertips could alleivate some of the problem. Ignore me if you are already doing this.
Trust me, the hands are a hook, no "grip" per se.
Maybe it is a generational thing for me. I learnt to row with wooden oars (and ergo handles). The handles would wick away sweat.
The rubber does not do this and it feels less secure when there is a film of sweat.
The towelling is much more like rowing with a wooden handle.

I don't think there are any sweat glands on the palms of your hands, I couldn't see though the hair though. (Old joke.)Could be linked to technique issues rather than amount of sweat produced?
For me it ran down my arms. Pretty grim to be fair.
