fair amount of grounds have a shop on them where you can try a few.

you can get a gun fitted to you, but best to start with one that feels about there to start with.

for example my lanky mates gun at the top with his fking huge stock extension, added on after a gun fit.

Keep telling myself that I have to get into shooting. You'd think I would have given my uncle owned and ran a tackle shop and nearly everyone in my family owns some sort of shotgun. Theres even a gun in my house but I've only shot clay once! Loved it though, maybe after college..

Get one now, I love clay shooting and would do it everyday if work didn't get in the way.

Has anyone got old english guns? Purdey? Holland and Holland?

Quite a few of the chaps I shoot with have old English guns - one has a hammer gun from the 1850's others have H&H from the first 20 years of the 20th century or Purdeys from the same era - some family guns some bought - lovely things to handle

Shooting is a great sport to get into. It can get expensive there are some very pretty guns out there. I go to eriswell lodge in Suffolk quite regular. This is my latest purchase
