Lisowski managed to knock out Bingham, do we reckon he'll do the same to Higgins?
He sure has a good chance to do so!

Ask John, he already knows the result.

I don't think he will. Across the season he blows hot and cold. When he's on form you wonder why he loses so often. Higgins has the sort of game that could force Lisowski into errors and bring out the worst in him.

The blue Lisowski potted into the green pocket in his last match was superb and had Hendry using top-tier superlatives. Well worth looking up if you haven't seen it.

I’ve never really rated Judd Trump, you don’t win major championships by hitting the ball as hard as you can. On Eurosport right now Joe Johnson is absolutely scathing of Trump in his commentary.

That'll be Trump's brand of "naughty snooker"..

Still rather watch him than Selby though. Alarm bells momentarily rang in my head when Ryan Day fell away after the interval, guess he just lost form rather than anything underhand - after all who am I to judge? I haven't played for years & my highest break was 32!

That's typical of the Ryan Day of old.

Just seems to crack up for no reason.

It was the BBC graphic showing a potting accuracy of 48% compared to McGill's 90ish at that time which I found odd. Again, not implying owt but.. odd scratchchin

Oh my word! What an excellent second to last frame. Can't wait for the last one now, although I think Trump will have it.

Just catching up on this mornings session. Alan McManus at the interval dressed like a rough caravaner type. (Picture David Essex in that'll be the day) .
He’s always in a suit on itv sport so surprised the bbc have let slip.
It’s good to have his insight as obviously he knows most of the players but the accent takes some tuning in to.

Ali carter seems to have a bee in his bonnet today , he always comes across as having a massive chip on his shoulder if not both. I’m aware he’s been ill but the chip was there years ago.

McManus is turning into one of the best commentators ,BBC should get rid of Taylor, Parrott and Doherty.

And I much prefer DC to Brundle these days.!!

Dennis practises at the club I go to and is always up for a chat, someone who hadn't seen him there before said to him "aren't you Dennis Taylor and he replied --- I used to be "

Very nice chap, but getting a bit repetitive in his commentating.

His new favourite, "and he''s got the DDK, the dreaded double kiss". Aaaaarrrgghh, just fking stop it now.

You're ALWAYS going to have to explain it for people who only watch once in a while, so it renders the acronym utterly useless.

They're diabolical except Hendry and McManus. Ebdon and his ooff/wow noises, Virgo's drone, Doherty and dat red dare gibberish. I can cope with Davis and Parrott. I should be thankful it's not the Welsh so old Terry's not around. Basically Scottish commentators rule. smile
