I quite enjoy when Davis is anticipating a shot, one he would play, i.e. the safe/boring/80s one, and Ronnie or whoever goes for the ridiculous pot and gets it. smile

Is it just me, or was Carter acting like a bit of a tt last night?

Carter was stomping around the table last night with his chest puffed out.
Like a stiff breeze wouldn't send him flying rofl

Magic! Nitty gritty business end of frame 19 and they’re shoulder barging each other round the table rofl

Carter (if he started it) shouldn't have done that. I feel like Ronnie is more likely to be motivated to play even better if he thinks it will annoy Ali.

BBC have a clip of the rocket leaving the shoulder in on Carter. Whats the scoop? Surly a bit of a lead up to that?

I think it was Ronnie getting angry at Ali actually, I thought it was the other way around.

As interesting as it makes it, I'd rather a respectful match between them to be honest. I'm not really one for enjoying confrontation.

Ummm... Why be so provocative in a snooker thread on a motoring forum?

I'm happy Carter finally got his win over Ronnie just as I am sad that one of the greatest players ever is no longer in the tournament this year. I'd be okay with Carter winning it all, but surely Ding is now the favourite (if he is still in it?!).

Wow, chuffed for Carter. All the Best to him on and off the table, he's been through it to say the least.

Have not watched the match - was the niggling a one sides affair? Was one player being a knob?

Potted history without bias if possible please!

I'd normally agree with you, but the nature of THIS games, it completely warrants bringing out the boxing gloves!... It did get physically after all.

On top of that, there's obviously the Ronnie love on here which is quite cringe worthy with him being seen as some sort of saint that can do no wrong.
