Walden has let Trump off the hook here. Looked all set to go 10-8 up but now it’s Trump who is about to go 2 clear with a 11-9 lead.

I'd like to see the these lads win their respective quarters:

1. Allen;
2. Ding;
3. Trump; and
4. Williams.

Higgins v Williams in the final I think.

If it works that way.

It could be, yes. If Williams beats Carter he would face Ding or Hawkins in the semi, with Higgins a possibility in the final.

Aye, not often I hope that Trump wins but this is definitely one of those times.

Solid start by him, not that it means a massive amount in just the first frame.

This.

Only reason i ever watch a higgins match is to see the fat get a drubbing.

Well, I think that’s that for Ding. Feel sorry for the guy, he never seems to be able to put his best game in place when it comes to the worlds.

Both Ding and Allen struggling.

Ding always seems to struggle against Hawkins for some reason.

I think Hawkins played really well tonight.

Just want Trump to knock out Higgins.

Sad to see Ding go out like this. Still, Hawkins is on immense form.

Brilliant clearance and re-spotted black from Trump to go 7-3 up.

Hawkins looks good. I don’t think it will take much for Higgins to win, but I’d rather see trump through.

Wow, Judd slumps as Higgins plays some great stuff! Way to go yet tho. Sad to see Ding go out with a whimper, like many hoped it would be his year. Love the photo above, not seen Nico McBrain in the audience yet. smile

Do you lot always live in the past? Get over yourselves! smile

On another note, I love how BetFred are now being blatantly advertised on the Beeb coverage. Do we get a discount on our license fee?

I've got a horrible feeling the fat cheats name is on the trophy this year.
