Has anyone done any research on the Feeney/Bingham/Gould 'sight Right cue''?

Just done a bit of reading and watched a few videos myself, seems like an expensive waste of money to me. Surely sighting a shot is the most basic of techniques with cue sports? Why change it now? Plus the 'sighting tool is at the butt end of the cue so not much use when you get down to the shot..

What do I know though?

Im hoping he can, I think I am slightly biased towards him over Murphy, as Binghams never won it, but he lacks the experience Murphy has.
