My wife said that Ronnie lost the match rather than Barry winning it, got say I agree.

think after 25 frames the winner is the best player you don't fluke 13 frames. Ronnie had stupidly good potting stats but it wasn't good enough

didn't Ronnie beat him 10-1 in the masters so this is an epic performance for Barry I was very impressed how he composed himself.

Great match that. Yesterday's second session was an amazing standard and tonight's had the drama. With the way Ronnie came back towards the end, with that century and then missing out on the maximum in the following frame, Hawkins deserves a lot of credit for sealing the win there.

Bazza seemed to be crumbling towards the end - refused a shot for the glory and also took some questionnable shots.

I reckon Ronnie would probably have won it if not for the in-off.

But overall as said above, he was the better player overall.
