DROPPED CATCH- SA 167-3
De Villiers is a dangerous man once he gets going, and England could do with getting him early. They get their chance when he edges Bresnan behind but Kieswetter, diving to his right, can't quite get there and the chance goes to ground. That is the only run of the over, however, as Bresnan turns the screw.
DROPPED CATCH - SA 205-2
Oh no. Amla feathers a Finn delivery down leg and Kieswetter drops the simple chance - the third chance he has spilled today. Mistakes like that make you wonder why Matt Prior - possibly the best wicketkeeper/batsman in the world - is not in the squad. Amla moves to 98 by steering one over the top to third man. A single down the ground takes him to 99. De Villiers takes two himself to move to 20.
SA 218-3
Not sure what happened there as De Villiers top-edges one on the toe of his bat while sweeping and Kieswetter takes the catch. Incredibly, Simon Taufel says not out - and the bowler Graeme Swann pulls massive chunks of hair out of his head in disbelief. That was one for the umpires' bloopers dvd. A shocker. South Africa take five from the over and Swann walks off chuntering to himself while aiming kicks at fresh air. I don't think he's too happy about that.
