Wouldn't hold your breath , I know G4S are involved with ticket distribution

Good luck
Really? They've all been delivered by royal mail, you get a text the morning yours are due to be delivered and they need signing for.

the travel cards distributed with tickets will work on the overground too. I was in london this weekend and there are signs all over the underground directing you to venues.

needless to say its going to be busy, so i would advise planning your routes in advance (with a contingency!), dont be stood at the bottom of an escalator wondering if you want to go westbound or eastbound on a tube line or you will be crushed....

Purchased our one and only tickets today. Got an email saying some more tickets were available. Easy peasy.

Got an archery session, which I wanted. Couldn't get any canoe slalom at the fabulous facility in Waltham Abbey.
We're at Lee Valley for the heats on the 29th, only took three attempts to get tickets!
Oh wow.

Jealous!

Being zone 1-9 The travel card is valid of the whole of London and being a travel card you can use it on TFL run buses, tube, dlr and trams.
As well as the Javelin train - simply check out the website??? smile

Pretty much any public transport is included. No river buses but you get a discount on those.

as of Saturday, there were tickets availble for the Diamond League event at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham on 26th August. Its pretty much going to be a homecoming for Team GB and many overseas athletes too, should be great!....same athletes, cheaper tickets, no traffic faff... wins all round!

Watched Christophe LeMaitre run a sub 20s 200m in the rain on Saturday! hopefully that raised an eyebrow in Jamaica!

Just got a pair of tickets through the post for athletics. One seat at 368 and one 373. Why are they not together?!

hte new tickets going on sale are as a result of teh finailsed seating plans so may be on a row end or something.

they are now selling returns, the two tickets could originally have been sold to anyone but as they are close together, its quite likely that they are returns from one of the competing countries olympic committtees or sponsor rather than an indiivdual.

i'm sure you can sort out something with the others on the same row when you are there. take a union jack so we can see you! wink

Like an awful lot of other people we know - applied for the Three Day Eventing - with a specific want for the Cross County day.

What did we get?

fking Boring Dull Dressage.
Like everyone else we know.

How the hell can so many have the dull dressage (relatively small stands I assume) and yet no one gets the Cross Country (fecking huge long Course, hundred thousand tickets should be do-able easily)

Stooopid Olympics. There seems to be surprisingly few tickets being hawked or swapped about either.

I am taking my family to the Paralympics, we got the first Saturday morning in the stadium to watch the athletics. So heats for the 100m, etc going on. Also got Olympic Park day passes where we can go and see wheelchair basketball, tennis, goal ball, and 7-aside football. The grand total for this for two adults and a child was £50. Not bad in my books considering how much people have been paying for tickets for other things.

More ticket bobbins was at the swimming.

Heats this morning had loads of empty seats and even the final session tonight still had empty seats. Quite bad really. Just shows the tickets were too expensive in some instances and that not so many should have been given to corporates.... Most of the empty seats tonight were the corporate free loader seats and they didnt turn up.

Got tickets for the volleyball at Earles Court on Friday 3rd (pm) and if I'm reading the schedule correctly, we'll be seeing the GB women, which is a bonus smile
