Get in! Too strong and Tomas not accepting the gifts that came his way, can't get away with that at this level.

Andy Vs Novak final and Andy in a very brutal 4 sets.

I guess Andy has proved the doubters wrong again.

Well played Murray, he did what he had to do and in the end won convincingly. That match summed up Berdych's career though - was outstanding for most of the first set and then his level dropped significantly. Even towards the end he had chances to take the match into a 5th set but didn't play the key points well at all.

Murray will be hoping Djokovic and Wawrinka now slug it out for 4 or 5 hours. Murray on the other hand will be very fresh for the final.

Berdych's attempt at mind games was a pitiful as it hugely back-fired and just served to fire Murray up. Convincing display again.

His mind games didn't go down well with Andy's fiancée either.

Watching a loved one play must be hell.

In the unlikely event of any of my children attaining such sporting heights, I would expect to be a nervous wreck.

Is the key for Andy to ratchet down his first serve a bit (like he was doing in the fourth set today) and concentrate on getting more of them in? His second serve is so puzzlingly undeveloped, on more than one occasion it was only his athleticism that was keeping him in the game. If I was his coach I'd be concentrating on sorting that out.

Hopefully that wasn't Andy at his best and he's got a little more for the final. I'm glad he proved me wrong in the last couple of rounds!

I think if it's Djokovic it'll be predictably long and general slog fest with very little difference if both are playing at their best. If it's Stan, much more unpredictable affair even though he has got a lot more consistent.

Fingers crossed for a 6 hour marathon tomorrow.

Anyone got Andy's email, we should probably let him know.

Kim Sears has gone up in my estimation. Found the tirade quite erotic tbh.

Agreed, but PM Justices first..he's tight with all the camps....curly wire in the ear and everything. He can slip him a note under his pillow wink

Murray is playing very well at the moment, very impressed. Think Djoko will win overall, though Stans backhand is now the best I have ever seen. His inside out is simply unbelievable.

Me too; hot girl, normally completely in control and refined, gets passionate and potty-mouthed. Likey.

Sarcasm detector on, but surely you'll agree it's odd that he can't seem to improve it to something at least approaching the level of his peers. There's no physical impediment, so it must be technical, and therefore fixable. Why throw away points with a fixable flaw?

Inconsistent and error-strewn are understatements for the Stan and Joker match.

Novak is entirely capable of raising his game and his fitness level is beyond reproach so today's 5 sets shouldn't be a big advantage for Andy when Sunday comes around. The good thing with these two (for the spectators) is that the bigger the event, the more pressure there is, generally the more they thrive on it and deliver big moments.

Should be a good one!

What time is the final? BBC website is not helping me...

Edit: from ausopen.com it's 7.30pm Sunday, so, I make that 8.30am?

Didn't see the match but most of the reports suggest that Djokovic was nowhere near is normal self today. I know you should never rely on your opponent having an off day however if they both play the final like they did the semi final, Murray should win.

The courts is playing a bit faster and combined with Murray playing much more aggressive, I fancy his chances on Sunday.
