quick question.

I've moved forces, the new fao is coming on Thursday to look at my safety. he said he would take my certificate away and send me a new one.

from what I've read on the tinterweb I should decline and ask for the new one as being in possession of the guns with no cert is against the law?

any ideas?
Definitely keep hold of yours. When renewing I always only send a copy of my current one. My renewal application went in at the start of September and still not back, this is without change of address or need to come and see my cabinet. I have had to chase and now have a temp permit to keep me legal until the new certificate comes out.

What force do you now come under?

My club does trips to Minsterly ranges where we can shoot anything over 50 yards, Id like to try .303 over 500 if Im honest.

Having said that, a morning breaking clays I find more satisfying.

Am looking forward to trying .303 at 600 this year, as only fired .303 at 100 and 300 so far.
Have shot 7.62 at 600 though, but don't have much interest in such modern calibre's though laugh

Can anyone recommend a teeny breakdown cabinet?

The mother has a small bungalow with limited space. I could of course get the cabinet fixed to the loft but I'm not sure how my FO will view that.

Does anyone have a cabinet in their loft?

Thanks
Scott

Your FO would be more than happy for it to be up there. However, not me because I am a lazy git and couldn't be arsed going up and down each time to get it. So it's currently in my bedroom cupboard waiting for my FO to come out.

Thanks Mr Trophy. I have a licence but after a move have only just got it back.

I am currently without gun but looking to get one sorted.

Can I just mount away now and get a gun? There isn't anything stopping me I guess as I have the ability to buy one but I haven't been advised the safe needs to be inspected.
