Hey up all
Did anyone attend the Vintage collectors airgun fayre at Melbourne yesterday??
I bought this lovely Air Arms SE90 yesterday for £165, I was after one just before Christmas that was £250 so i'm delighted with the price
I won this Trigon on the raffle!!
I also bought a boxed AGS 2x20 pistol scope too..
Here's a couple of Walther spring powered pistols, LP2 and LP53..
Cheers, John

8/30 on the clay pigeon shooting
Instructor advised me to close my right eye, only trouble is my left eye naturally closes slightly when I close my right fully and m eyesight is piss poor to begin with! Everytime I got into a flow of hitting a couple I would miss one and then just get annoyed and lose concentration. Much more practice to be done I guess.
I did get to have a play with a pump action shotgun which was pretty cool for the fun factor.

All good thanks, getting around 38/41 out of 50 now, missing some silly easy ones and hitting the harder ones.... dunno why though.
Work wise, managed to get down to 8-10 days in a month now which leaves me more time to relax and waste money at Bisley.
Must catch up sometime.
Nice one - good work. I can tell you why you are hitting the harder ones and missing the easy - you aren't 'aiming'... Work wise, managed to get down to 8-10 days in a month now which leaves me more time to relax and waste money at Bisley.

Still getting my head around the 682 - I think I was given bad advice at the beginning of my ownership and was always aiming high. Just shoot the fecker...

Was good actually, not as busy it has been in the past which was nice as I was on a schedule. The compak is very popular.
Didn't enjoy the flat on the 'lovely' road on the way out though.
Finishing the week off with Effingham tomorrow.
I started out down at Headley as it's only 10 mins away from me, but when you go somewhere like Dartford or Bisley it makes you realise just how busy they are down there! It's also pretty compact; quite often get birds crossing from different stands. Phil and the team are always very welcoming, however. You're right about the road, it's in a right old state and I'm sure last winter was not kind to it (I haven't been there this year).Didn't enjoy the flat on the 'lovely' road on the way out though.

Didn't know they had a compak, they used to have 10x6 Sporting stands and two DTLs, have they changed it?
Yup. They have changed it, the compak is quite popular. Busy as hell though.
Got a puncture on the way out which was fun. Not.
Bisley is and will always remain my favourite. Mid week shooting is sooo relaxed it wonderful. May head there this week or next thinking about it. Probably next Friday.

bisley is my fav too but closed mostly at weekends, (i think they have what 4/5 stands and no tower or grouse for weekends)
been going to Fennes alot, really enjoyable, great tower, nice ground, relaxed etc etc etc
going to Churchills on saturday morning for the first time, i understand its a bit posher but should be fun

I've been looking for somewhere to practice compak near me as Bisley don't have it (I'm quite close to Bisley) and Churchill's is the only one I can find that's relatively close. It is a good shooting ground, but can be a tad pricey. Having said that, they have open compak practice on Wednesdays, so I'm planning to go up there for a couple of hours next week. Any advice? been going to Fennes alot, really enjoyable, great tower, nice ground, relaxed etc etc etc

Make sure you buy a chamber safe marker to show everyone it's not loaded while on a shoot. They take no time at all to remove. Looks like this:
Very good advice , I will get one. Nice looking gun too! How does the reflex sight work for you also how much do you think the sling swivels are for the stock and pump area ? Thanks
I think that's why they can sometimes be frowned upon at claw grounds , so when I go to my local one I will definitely turn up with one in my gun. Its not worth the danger or upsetting everyone for a fiver really.
A Miroku for £200 ?! Did you walk in wearing a balaclava ? Really good find , I would love a 1984 miroku for my 30th this year if I can find one. Love most things made in Japan , Cars and technology etc.

My addition to the PH gun cabinet.
Hatsan Escort Pump - £200 ex display and a couple of boxes of shells. Very pleased with my first shotgun. This will be my rough shooting everyday gun and hoping for something special like a (used ) beretta O/U from the family for my 30th later this year :-)

Same brand but the one in your link is a semi auto , mine is a pump action. You should be able to pick one up new in box for less than £300 , mine was £200 ex display with a couple of boxes of 12g. Unless your after a semi auto ?
Like that one.
