Do you have an UZI or Glock version?

Mine's a Glock. Just put a new 1-10 scope on it

Sighted the 308 in again today after getting it shortened to 20" and fitting a suppressor. Shot 12-15mm groups at 100yds with a couple of different loads, so I'm happy enough.

Nice!

308 is next on my list. Not quite sure what to go for. Ideally something I can take hunting if the opportunity arises but which won't be too shabby at Bisley either.

Any thoughts folks? I don't have the space/cash/time for 2!

Depends a lot on how much you want to spend! And I don't know what comparative pricing is like where you are.

In terms of value for money, accurate hunting rifles my pick of the bunch is Savage - not the cheapy Axis models, but anything based on the Mod.10 action is good. Nice strong action, top class accuracy, excellent and easily adjustable triggers.

Most modern rifles are capable of good accuracy with ammunition they like, so the most important thing is to handle a few options in your price range and see what fits you the best. And leave plenty of cash in the pot for decent optics on top of it...

Thanks Gravel will check them out.

For some reason I'm drawn to the Browning Maral.

Can't quite figure out why, but they look like a nice bit of kit for a fair price

I hadn't ever heard of the Maral to be honest! Just looked it up and it looks like a nicely finished straight-pull version of the old BAR semi-auto.

The Browning bolt-action rifles have a good reputation for quality, so I expect that would be well made and accurate too.

Hi all

I acquired a couple more since I was last on here, Had to slow down with the buying though as i've been off work for over eight months with a gammy knee!!

I waited six and a half months for an op that doesn't seem to have worked as my knee is still going from under me and causing much pain, Also, there's been no money at all coming in to the house for around seven weeksn so no buying guns for a while now frown

Most recent is this Theoben Fenman, I traded one of my HW95's for it...

The last gun I bought, A better than the average Chinese product, The KL3b 'Fast Deer' sidelever...

Cheers, John smile

I have a 9MM garden gun to dispose of. On a FAC, due to a short barrel. It is a Anschütz gun.
What is the best way of selling? It is on my FAC ticket, and was Dads gun, who sadly passed. I now want to clear it off my ticket and space in the cabinet.

Anywhere open Fridays around the Herts/North London area for a spot of clay-busting? I'm struggling for venues.
