where are you having the lesson? if you get a shotgun cert you can borrow a gun, makes things a LOT cheaper than going out with an instructor every time.

Indeed, seem pretty good prices.

I go shooting at the "other" club in Dartford http://www.dartfordclayshootingclub.co.uk/ quite a lot, might give this JJ's place a go (never heard of it before).

Picked up my new (to me) Rizzini today.

selective ejector (only shot shells eject), single trigger & a full set of chokes, not bad for £275!

Took it for some practice today and it shot very well indeed - I am now a convert to properly fitted shotgun, It has nearly no recoil!

currently using No. 5 30g loads. at £6 a box its affordable... Mainly using a red lamp and shotgun/ .22 to lamp rabbits with limited success - the buggers never come out! hehe They have eaten all but 4 beet plants off a 1/2 acre patch we planted after pigs. Serious rabbit control needed next year I think (although we got 86 in one night last year)

Look forwards to some relaxing walked up game and clays this week, makes a change from rabbits or corvids. smile

Pictures soon gents.

This will be very useful. Maybe we can get it made a sticky? Can you include postcodes so it's easy to look up location on Google maps?
