I think Trott has hit that. The front on hotspot doesn't show that side of the bat.

Mikey talking out of his arse.

Snicko shows a massive spike which is a sharp edge hit. It's surrounded by fuzz which is the dull thud onto the pad.

At least Gower and Beefy are on the Trott decision.

The 3rd umpire who gave out Trott is the South African Erasmus. Just saying hehe

They have just had Agar's parents on TMS; they sound like lovely people. For a brief moment, I almost felt bad about the narrowly missed century. Very briefly.. smile
They were on Sky at tea, nice folk (his two brothers as well). Cracking day for them and excellent they were here to see his sparkling debut - they'll have a few tonight no doubt.

Not listening to TMS but Boycs must be loving this response. About time we had some bloody test match cricket!

I must say old chap, I think allocating ~90 runs to that triumvirate is somewhat ambitious. Finn looks about his average if you ask me (12).

That is the worst umpiring decision I have seen for a long long time. That is Trott's wicket back.

Massive talking point - would another batsman have walked?

Chaps. A beautiful day. Amazing parallels with Edgbaston 2005. The only thing we missed was Jimmy giving Brad a cuddle at the end.

Truth be told we should have annihilated the Crims here, barring two unprecedented final wicket stands from them. And yet...

So, it's not clear to me who can take the most from this test. Into the next. What I do know is Lord's will be a belter and we really do have the man for man beating of them, so I'm really looking forward to it!

I think that if Anderson doesn't perform then one of the others will. That's the way this bowling attack works. I also think they will keep Finn in the side, Flower likes continuity and it's Lords.
Finn confirmed in an unchanged side according to the BBC.
Unchanged 'squad' which means Finn could be dropped.
yes

The squad is unchanged, but the squad includes Unyuns and Bres.

I've read online that apparently the Aussies could be calling Simon Katich back.
I reckon they could persuade Warney back as well.

Ponting looks in cracking nick too.

Would be a lovely day to win the toss and bat. Jimmy A gets another rest day.

Stick a massive total on, and really put them under some pressure.

Hardly ever turns out like that, but would be lovely to see Root make an innings today.
Woop! Cooky does the job again!

Disappointed for Finn, harsh to drop him after one poor performance I think.
