Feeling confident after that result, we're struggling with a few injuries. Yeah feel for you guys, you really seem to be missing Goode running the show at 10.
To be honest I don't think we are. Mieres has been fine this year. What we are missing really badly is front foot ball. Our forwards have been pretty poor, leaving our (for once) reasonable back running at full organised defences all game. Hey ho.

Jees Tigers - wtf happened today!?
The Sarries were rather good today. There's no team in the premiership which wouldn't have struggled against them today. The second half display was tremendous. Yet at 38 mins I thought we were going to have a close one.Around 60 mins 'you' were camped in the Sarries' 22, with lots of action near the 5 metre and then it all went terrible wrong, oddly enough once both man of the match Wrigglesworth and Farrell went off, who I thought had been tremendously influential.
Borthwick should have been carded, just for being an arse. He knew exactly what he was doing after the penalty try.
Vinupola wasn't tamed.
Enjoyable match for a neutral.

He was being an arse all game. He knew exactly what he was doing obstructing Youngs, too. Also, Ashton's try was clearly forward. The 'hands went backwards' rule is a complete joke. Not that it would have changed the end result much, though.Certainly not a good day to be a Tigers supporter, getting that result along with the news of Flood's departure.
I know the whole tigers team looked a bit off colour, but I thought lamb looked well out of his depth. He created little, kicked away possession and went for stupid grabbers that would never come off. Throw in the weather and there is no way he should have kicked so much. Don't forget the Barnes factor!

I'm watching the Gloucester match after its farcical delay.Certainly not a good day to be a Tigers supporter, getting that result along with the news of Flood's departure.
I agree with your comment about the forward pass rules. I can see the need for exciting rugby and why the interpretations was brought in but if it is impossible to say whether a pass if forward or not after fives minutes of deliberation, despite knowing where the players were and the trajectory of the ball, then there's something wrong.
As an aside, I'd like to see a consistent 'kicking away advantage' rule being brought in. I've got my own personal preference, but so do various referees, and they are not all the same.
Are there any Exeter fans on here going to Twickenham on Saturday?
They created a great atmosphere last time I saw them play Quins at the Stoop, so it would be nice to see if they can do the same again on Saturday, even if it does mean I have to remind my lads who we support from time to time when they start joining in with the Red Indian chants!
