I think Austin summed it up well mid week, if myler plays we win and if he doesn't we lose. Far too big a game for hooley to have been playing in.
End of the game was a bloody disgrace from Barnes, I always thought you had to play a full 80 mins, missed lots of cynical play, gonova (sp) trying to take dawson's head off right in front of the touch judge who said nothing (mind you he was the same touch judge who said he didn't see anything wrong with tualagi battering Ashton) and then tualagi taking out Kahn by torpedo'ing head first with no arms into his chest...but in not bitter
Hopefully we can keep second and do you in the semi's

That's the hope!
But Bath and Sarries away are huge asks, and both of play off chasing. The one hope is that Sarries secure their home semi and have an eye some where else, but that is a serious long shot.
Gloucesters last two wins were unconvincing and against seriously down at heel teams. Exeter's form isn't good, but they are our bogey team.
I think it is too little too late, but we're all just glad not to have 'done a Roth'. We will lament silly losses to Wasps and Tigers, and losing to Marlande Yarde earlier in the season (it is not an exageration to say he beat us single handedly that day)

By the time Sarries play Wuss, it's reasonable to assume they may have taken a bonus point win against Newcastle, and of course Quins will have beaten Leicester too (he says, hopefully, with tickets in the South Stand at the Stoop! ), meaning they will already have secured their home semi, and will be probably more tied up with thoughts of the Heineken Cup?But Bath and Sarries away are huge asks, and both of play off chasing. Well after watching the Gloucester and Bath game I don't know what to say. Some good play but mainly Poor from both teams, but really finishing with 11 players. I know local derbys can be a bit of a scrap but a bit ott maybe! ?
Just seen the BT highlights. The last few minutes looked a bit "interesting". Almost as if there was a bit of niggle between the teams....Ian Lancs said:

Almost as if there was a bit of niggle between the teams....I've always found that if a ref issues a high number of cards, with a mix of colours, some of the blame must lie with him. I think the criticism that the refereeing was variable might be true. The penalty try was clear enough though.
Some good matches over the weekend.
I don't think anyone in the Stoop was expecting that final scoreline after the first 20 minutes!
A quick question to anyone who watched the match on tv... was the refereeing as slow and dithering as it looked to us in the stadium? That was the longest 80 minutes of rugby I think I've ever seen! Mind you, maybe it just felt like that because it was so bloody child!

Ah excellent, they've announced the coverage then! Last time I looked, they still hadn't confirmed which games were going to be shown.but then its about £100 return train ticket from glasgow

Quins vs Bath always had to be something of a nailed on certainty, given that it's the only game with anything significant still riding on it, but I'm a little surprised they've gone for Saints vs Wasps rather than Sarries vs Tigers as the other.
Yes, I know there's still a home semi place up for grabs between Saints and Tigers, but that would've been covered with either of the above games.
Not Aviva, but I hope they take head injury protocols a bit more serious than this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdNQQFm5tdo (Fritz takes a whack to the head)
