This is true but I did still enjoy watching the King of swing do his thing! Plus if you watched more than Wimby there were some awesome hard court and clay matches from this era

Part 4 wasn't up for viewing last night. The conclusion to the match was not there. It is now.

It was frustrating last night and maybe worsened was a bit harsh. I like iPlayer/ red button access, I am using it now to watch mens senior doubles but it has been better (imo) in previous years (or at least a better layout)

I don't mind constructive advice but whether you meant to or not your replies seemed unnecessarily condescending.

I like some serve volley games but rallies can provide some great entertainment (as long as they mix it up a bit!)

Did anyone see the invited veteran doubles match with Bahrami the other day?

I have never, ever, ever enjoyed tennis so much. Guy's a genius. biggrin

On a sadder note: Marion Bartoli. Oh dear. Clearly in desperate need of help, although I'm not sure the help she thinks she needs is the help that'll actually improve her health… odd how nobody famous ever develops an ailment which limits them to sensible portions of normal and nutritious food, innit?

I'm pretty sure she and Venus played a set each in an exhibition match against a Top 200 men's player, German chap I think, who answered an open challenge.

He annihilated then both.

I believe the time has come for the women to play best of 5 in Grand Slams. The Williams sisters playing doubles at the moment after both have played semi final singles already today just demonstrates that it's far too easy and they are more than physically capable.

Something very, very similar to what's going on in Joni Mitchell's head.

I don't really watch tennis these days - I had enough of it after playing for a while in high school. I didn't realise the gap between mens and womens tennis was that big. Was kinda hoping Serena could go on to obliterate all male players too!

Was up close to Federer watching him on one of the practice courts this morning; I was struck by how slight he was looking and how he seemed to have aged over only the last year. Clearly has a wonderfully deft touch but I couldn't get over how much lighter and older he looked.

the chap was called Karsten Braasch, almost retired at the time and ranked about 200, played a round of golf in the morning, followed by a boozy lunch then went out and beat the easily, he later said he played like someone ranked about 600 just to keep it fun! Apparently he was smoking as well on the changeovers! This is how a journalist described him: "a man whose training regime centred around a pack of cigarettes and more than a couple bottles of ice cold lager." smile

Have a feeling that this is going to be Raonic's day.

Another cracking match here but can't quite believe Raonic is still in this match, he was only just hanging on in so many games in that 4th set.

The 'Skye' part may preclude watching video (having those sort of issues Loch Ness-side)
I tried iPlayer last night. It was tedious. Two of the links showed only the first part of the Murray match I could not find one that showed the whole match or the end of the match!!

Now this was 11pm after a long shift at work so I may have misses it but all I wanted was a highlight show for all four matches and I could not find one
Never mind the "Skye" bit, we are currently in North Yorkshire and I cannot listen to iPlayer radio without it stalling and buffering then stopping due to bandwidth!

The problem was we recorded both programmes BBC 1 & BBC 2 before we went out and they changed the programmes around afterwards.
We have "catch up" on the box but she was fully in the swing of things only to find the programme stop at 2:1. We then went looking and found it live at 2:2 & just a couple of games off the end. No point in watching iPlayer or Catch up when you know the score.
