Fair play to Raonic winning that one considering he looked down and out in the 4th before pulling it back and taking it to the 5th.

Hopefully the Murray game can also provide excitement and at least 4 sets for some evening viewing.

At least Venus has still made a final this year getting through in the doubles.

Heather Watson & Kontinen doing well in the mixed doubles on BBC2 at the moment too smile

and you compare an epic battle in the mens to the woman final- a match which will last all of 1 hour and the score line 6.0/6.2 is similar. it's plain wrong they get the same prize money.

I don't really follow tennis outside of Wimbledon fortnight but what's the view on Federer?

I and everyone I mention him to struggle with the whole "Wearing your own line of monogrammed clothing" thing.

I'd probably want a little more than that but most likely yes, it's just an observation that a bit like Ronaldo, everyone says he's a nice bloke but his behaviour means you don't warm to him.

I was simply curious if people who follow Tennis feel the same or if it's just a personal (although not just me) thing.

I think he is universally well liked, always keeps his cool and never trash talks anyone which is reflected in his ridiculously large sponsorship income and brand ambassadorships.

Oh, and a heads up in case anyone is recording things hehegetmecoat The tennis is staying on BBC1 so everything from 6pm is moving to BBC2, until the Murray game is completed.

So it appears Murray is going to be up against Raonic in the final - very winnable on paper as he has a very good record against the huge serving Canadian.... But so did Federer before today.

There will be huge pressure on Andy, it will be his best chance to win a big one in 3 or 4 years, but I have a feeling Milos is going to play incredibly well and be very hard to beat.

I think most will be surprised at how well Raonic will play on Sunday (maybe less surprised after todays performance). I'm not sure if he'll do well enough to beat Murray but I think he will push Andy far more than Tomas did today.

The thing with Raonic is that I don't think even he knows what the roof of his potential is, I don't think we've seen the best of him at all and the way he was moving + hitting his backhand today was better than I've ever seen him so if he keeps progressing like this he will be formidable.

Berdych should be disappointed, he made far too many unforced errors especially at key points to hand Murray some of the breaks of serve.

Berdych has an awkward match up against Murray. The grass courts bounce a bit too low and don't allow him to attack as much as he normally would..... hence a lot of errors.

Raonic has won me a few quid anyway, I had an each way bet on him before the tournament started. I just hope Murray can come through, it would be pretty devastating for him to lose a final to someone other than Novak / Roger / Rafa. He is certainly a better player than Raonic, but it will depend how well he can return.

I have my fingers crossed for Venus Williams in the women's doubles as well. Would be great to see her win something again.

Was it your first time at Wimbledon? Hope you had a good day, woukd love to get there one day!

Murray beat Milos in the final at Queens a few weeks ago (on grass), so he can do it. Though I think Milos has picked up some very useful tips from Mcenroe in recent weeks. He'd only just started assisting with coaching when Queens was on.

Did anybody else notice how loud the press camera shutters were towards the end of Murray's match yesterday? I think he even commented on it at one point too.

I suppose they must be used to it but I'd find that very distracting.

Was it louder than usual or just down to microphone placement?

I just assumed they must have moved a microphone right next to the photographers because i did notice how loud the shutters were as well .

On centre court on Thursday and it was coming from all directions; I do wonder how many shots of Serena you need!

You'd be surprised how many attempts it takes to get a good shot in a non-controlled environment! The fast shutter cameras are usually quite uncomfortably loud.

Some lovely words from Billy Jean King re: Andy Murray, very complimentary of his game, though only if he stays with the match in his head, fair point!

When can we discuss the women's final! Don't want to give spoilers.

Not trolling. I find it bizarre that many men would find woman's tennis even vaguely interesting. Less so 'the William sisters'.

I won't even watch the final but can safely predict; over in 2 sets . Hardly break a sweat.
