Resorting to ad hominem attacks. Mind you, you're probably the smartest person at the car yard.
Not sure what a car yard is but I'm confident that I'm the smartest and best informed person in this conversation.
Really. Resorting to play ground claims. I don't know if I'm smarter than you or not. I have two degrees, law and accountancy and I spent 25 years in the city as a risk analyst in credit derivatives. I don't know how to change oil in a land rover though so maybe you are smarter than me.

You have form arguing on here don't you. I knew it would take a while for you to conjure UL what you though would be a Witty retort but it was lame.
Wow, you really are an angry little man aren't you. hehe

I've never changed the oil on any vehicle in my life. I was a main board director of a UK plc for a number of years though and we did have a lot of over educated under achieving bean counters among the more junior staff so perhaps we've met.

I play tennis at the LTA centre regularly. For over a decade everyone there has said what a great bloke Murray is. Apparently he's always polite and has time for everyone.
He's worked incredibly hard for his success, good luck to him.

2007 proved that claiming 25 years as a risk analyst in credit derivatives isn't any claim to wisdom. Quite the opposite.

I've never met Murray, or anyone else that has, however as a number of people on here have, and all have said he's a decent bloke, then I'll take that over anyone who hasn't.

Yep, all our models were st for a number of reasons. When you price a default swap and the rating is a con, cure the rating agencies lying for fees. But the quants were spot on. I left the industry in 2006 just before it blew up. I call it wisdom.

I've worked with a few sports people - 7 are world class athletes. Each and every one has been humble, polite and respectful.

It's often the management, support staff or 'entourage' that are the rude ones. They have to be sharp though as they're the ones managing the players. Often I'll have an athlete say yes to something only to be overruled by a manager or spokesperson. Who knows if the athlete has given them a single to say times up, but I can't complain about the ones I've met and worked with.

Musicians are the bad ones. Grumpy, annoyed and short attention spans. I'm sure there are some horrible athletes and celebrities out there in sports just have yet to meet them.

I never said Murray wasn't a great player. But he has no personality and is a staunch SNP/devolution supporter. I find it disrespectful to English. It is my opinion. You live in the U.S so you have enough issues to deal with don't you.
Firstly, Andy Murray is not a "staunch SNP supporter"! Please provide evidence to the contrary.

And being an SNP supporter DOES NOT equate to being disrespectful to anyone, including the English! That either belies a persecution complex or arrogance, I'm not sure which...

I can only presume you are on the troll with comments like that though. Otherwise, you are coming across a bit 'cerebrally challenged' I'm afraid... wink
