^^ I think it might have been too steep for NQ although it could just have not been his day.

Was indeed a brutal stage, well done to Yates that was a superb display by him. I hope there's more of that to come from him!

Good to see j-rod challenging all the way to the line, he's coming on form at just the right time.

I guess today's time trial is the decider.

Paris-Roubaix today. Coverage on Eurosport from about 12.

Wiggos grand finale with team sky. Fingers crossed for a fairy tale ending.

My money is on G today. Not really feeling it for Brad for some reason. Coverage just started

Anyone ridden these pave sections, they always look brutal.

Lots of minor accidents, Sky need to be careful if they intend to stay in the bunch... 110kms to go but nothing happens until Arenberg

I would love for Thomas to win it because he is good enough to. I thought Wiggins looked very calm in the bunch.86k left break down to just 8 now at 5 mins 16 sec

Just switched back on after a spell away from the TV. Where are Sky? They were bossing the front just before Aremberg. Etixx are looking strong but I'm not sure even 5 against Stannard are good odds for them. biggrin

Yup, he gave it everything. Luke Rowe was bloody amazing too.

Degenkolb, just wow. Spectacular effort to pull that off.

I did the sportive yesterday, brutal doesn't describe it, amazing the speed they carry across them. You would struggle to walk down some of the sectors! There was rain yesterday which made them even more fun

It was great to see Brad 'raging against the dying of the light' as it were. Last years performance was a surprise, and ultimately this sort of race isn't his cup of tea. However, it was great to see him 'give it hell' on his swansong, which to be honest is what I really wanted.

VERY impressed by Luke Rowe.

Liege Bastogne Liege was a bit anti climatic wasn't it? Well done Valverde but the last 10k was a bit pants.

Have Kittel or Cav ridden any of the classics this year?

Didn't Cav take KBK?

They do indeed seem to be having a good run in Turkey - but WTF were they doing with all those 'nanas?!

I am not sure what it is this year but a lot of the 'big' classics just haven't been that good.

Flanders & PR certainly missed boonen and cancellara.

Valverde is on top form right now and is in with a shout of one of the grand tours. I've lost track of who is taking part in which grand tours..

Flanders had an air of inevitability about it but i was still willing Terpstra on. I thought Paris Roubaix was fantastic but most of the excitement was very close to the line.

Valverde is looking very strong. Certainly stronger at the moment than any of the grand tour favourites.
