Personally I don't think Nibbles helps himself with his attitude (think of the long running seeming vendetta with Sky/Froome), or the team he is part of. Having said that, consoling Chavez's family at the finish was a touch of class.

It was a very large turn around. It would be lovely to celebrate such a thing. Why can't I?
Would you if it was Froome?
If yes then you know the answer! wink

And Wiggins was born in Belgium...

The nationality arguments are always entertaining, but in the end pointless as it's determined by the rules of the sport.

Just seen a friend of mine share the Leigh premier cycling clubs page. They had Sir Bradley turn up for a club ride last night.

The time sheet

The time sheet

Looks like the D10/1 at Rainford ?.
Steve Cummins has been known to fly around there in the evening 10's.

Sagan looks like he is snubbing the Olympic RR in favour of the MTB XC then.
Quite surprised by that, as although I know he isn't a specialist climber he does alright and the Olympic XC course is hardly flat!

He was a prodigy in road, XC and CX as a Junior and probably only moved to the road for the money (who wouldn't).
It will be interesting to see how he goes, although I can't see him winning, or getting onto the podium myself.

So Froome takes control at the CdD with a great stage win, Contador looked lacking.

Looking good for the Tour.

There is a long time from now to July 9th when the fun really starts, although you would assume that Froome's training/peaking should be bang on.

Strong ride from Dan Martin, I'd love to see him take a Tour stage, who knows stage 7 perhaps?

Froome looking strong again too, let's hope he's not peaking too soon.

Contador looked tired and dejected, back in the saddle which is not his style.

Cummings stage win at least years tour was awesome, he will be a marked man this year but I think he'll bag another stage.

News today that the 211 coded blood bags used as evidence in the Operation Fuentes scandal will be handed over to the authorities for investigation...
