Sad to be discussing Armstrong whilst there is such great racing on the Tele right now.

Hard to know Sir Bradley, or in anyway imply he is not one of the best cyclists the world has seen so far. Who is really number one is a good pub debate for sure, but to include Armstrong in any putative list is a bad joke.

I see young Trotters has three golds..

Come on Kenny

Full of admiration for him.

He was on every drug known to man and won the TdF.

Last time I tried riding on drugs, I fell off before I got to the end of the road.
I was one who believed the lie right up until he admitted he was a cheating scumbag.
Whoosh parrot?

4:10 for the ladies Team Pursuit, just wow, 2 secs off the WR set just yesterday. Within 10 secs of the men's top 8 times.

A day for Cav to start his Olympic dream hope it goes well for him. the Sprint final is going to be interesting and Gold and Silver guaranteed . I do hope SKY bring back their expert who said British Cycling had problems and wouldn't do well.

Cav made a bit of a mistake there in the elimination race, something new for him to be miserable about in interviews then.

No need to dis respect Cav simply because he is a little spikey.

Personally I like his edgy side, show he cares and has some depth, not everyone can be a laid back Kenny.

Made a mistake in the elimination, but I still think he will win the Gold.

Cav has a good chance of consolidating his position, if not improving it, in the TT and the flying lap but he needs to gain a lap in the points race to stand any chance of a big score. To do that whilst being so heavily marked and without taking another podium contender with him will be tough. I don't think picking up points in the sprints alone will be enough

Cav looking under pressure here.

Surely he's going to have to get a lap on the pack?

Disappointed they didn't ask him about wiping out the Korean and what was going on there.

Disgusting behaviour by Cavendish again, should've been disqualified. Not his first time.

Great ride from Cav to secure silver.

Also Laura Trott, what a star she is.

checkout the medal table.
it was disgusting because his plan was to take the Italian out and he failed and we don't accept failure in GB cycling
what a pity you are not a judge I doubt we would have any medals in cycling

Lolz, it was an accident, there was no intent and certainly no motive to take out Viviani! The Korean thought Cav was staying up high and if you watch the footage, the Korean starts to climb the track and couldn't be aware that Cav was obviously trying to launch another attack and is coming back down. Six of one etc etc, happens a lot...

Best some of you don't watch the keirin tonight if you think crashes are all conspiracies to take out the opposition.... better still why not actually try track cycling yourself?!....

BTW, I know who has their tongue in their cheek!!

Exactly, accidents happen.

Look at Vivianni and Boudat later in the race, pretty much the same scenario, only they were lucky they didn't go down that time.

yes track cycling is great I remember fondly watching my skin suit disintegrate and then this red stuff coming out of my thigh oh I did laugh.
Seriously though non of the riders complained because its what happens all the time despite what some may think he could not know he would come out of that without injury so there was zero intent on his side.

She looked on a different planet to everyone else in the elimination race. Like a racehorse in a field of donkeys.

The track cycling has been my fav group of events again at this Olympics. I like the GB team and all the events (actually I still don't 'get' the Keirin!).

Always a good race. Dare I say it, better than the Tour.
