Thought Andy was going to get whitewashed 5-0 at one point. Luckily he got 2 on the board. A shame he is out but qualifying at all was a major achievement for him!

It's evidently MVG's to lose but i'd love to see Taylor get another Worlds on his belt. Don't think Ando or Lewis are playing well enough to win. I wouldve said Chizzy is worth an e/w bet but he is in the same half of the draw as MVG so they can potentially meet in the Semis

Peter Wright has a tough draw with Keegan Brown in rd.1 and Keegan loves the shorter formats. Can see an upset there & i'll be backing Brown to win.

Anyone else got any predictions they'd like to share?

Probably a MvG v Taylor final, but my money is on Jackpot Lewis.

Ah the warm up to the big event at the lakeside is finally here.

Not a massive fan of Phil Taylor however given his age and what an achievement it would be at this stage of his life I wouldn't bemoan Taylor title number 17.

Other than that it's hard to see past MVG winning the title.

Anyone watching the first match this evening? The Thai player cannot count. He's also going for trebles and accidentally hitting doubles. His opponent isn't much better. This is worse quality than the BDO ladies.

Some very poor games today, as bad as the early rounds of the BDO, but you know it will get much, much better.
