I just can't get on with MvG, all that posturing after every set of darts thrown make him look like an angry George Dawes.

MvG to win this year.
Good prediction, can I have Friday's lotto numbers too please? wink

MvG, utter cock, I wasn't too keen on Wright (I don't get the whole hair thing on a middle aged man), but I was wiling him on and I think he put in a decent show in the end.

Been watching Sky Sports Darts since 11am in prep for this, cannot wait!!

I'm going with MvG (although i'd love it if Taylor did it!!) for the title - he'd be the 4 player to retain the win after their first World Championship (Brisow, Barney & Lewis being the other three).

ETA: I think Keegan Brown is an ace player and one to watch, the longer games are where he seems to come unstuck. He'd face Lewis in the second round if they both get through. He's beaten im before but Lewis is back with Deller now.

Would like to see Wade or Anderson win it however the head says MVG, Taylor or Lewis will win again.

Anyone think Bunting could win and briefly hold both world titles?

Personally no. While he has the ability to score high and finish well, I don't think he is consistent enough yet to win the PDC. Happy to be proved wrong though as I don't mind him, apart from that smirk he pulls when throwing!

MvG needs to sort it out if he's to go a lot further. Cullen had a great game against him!

Regards to Bunting, he's good no doubt about it but a bit new to win the title.

His route to the semis (if the favs win) is Wade/Smith/Lewis OR Barney then he'd meet Taylor in the semis. Not the easiest way to progress tbh?!

Likewise. I cannot stand MvG and I'm not a massive PT fan either.

Early days I suppose but there hasn't really been a great match yet.

Anderson vs Klaason is last up tonight and that has the potential to be a good one.

I'm glad you posted that!

I got home to my parents' on the 21st to find out they had cancelled Sky Sports! I nearly drove 350 miles back home! Moving on to somewhere with Sky Sports tomorrow so hopefully there will be a return to form by then.
